Listen and compare

One Story. Three Different Feelings.

I explored three musical interpretations of ‘Your Story Has a Sound’ to demonstrate creative range while keeping one central story. Each version uses a different musical direction to change how the message feels. The coordinated covers carry that same approach into the visuals.

Listen to the same chorus in each version. How do the arrangement, rhythm, and visual presentation change the feeling?

Your Story Has a Sound

These lyrics provide the shared story behind the three musical interpretations. The performance directions below describe the original Country Soul Rock arrangement; instrumentation and delivery may vary in the other versions.

[Intro — Spoken Over Acoustic Guitar] To the people building Suno— I came here with a story. A few words, a little grit, And something I needed to say. This is what I heard. [Verse 1] There was a line in a notebook, Coffee rings around the page, A little hope I kept for later, A little hurt I couldn’t name. I tapped a rhythm on the table, Let those words fall into time, Then the silence in that room Had a melody beside mine. [Pre-Chorus] I still had to find the meaning, I still had to choose the words, But a door I’d only dreamed of Opened wide enough to be heard. [Chorus] Your story has a sound, Let it rise, let it roll, From the ink upon the paper To the fire inside your soul. Give the whisper room to thunder, Give the memory a tune, There’s a song inside this moment, And it starts right here with you. [Verse 2] Somebody’s writing for their mother, Someone’s finding love again, Someone’s making Saturday louder With a chorus for their friends. Me, I bring a weathered voice, Country heart and rock-and-roll, Trying different roads to reach The same truth down in my soul. [Pre-Chorus] Every choice can change the feeling, Every pause can let it breathe, When the music meets the meaning, That’s the part I want to keep. [Chorus] Your story has a sound, Let it rise, let it roll, From the ink upon the paper To the fire inside your soul. Give the whisper room to thunder, Give the memory a tune, There’s a song inside this moment, And it starts right here with you. [Bridge — Rhythmic Spoken Delivery, Drums Building] To the team behind the doorway, Here’s the work I’d bring to you: Find the heart inside the message, Make the first impression true. Build a picture worth a second, Write a line that makes us feel, Listen, learn, and make it better, Keep the human story real. [Breakdown — Soulful] One voice in a quiet room, One thought beneath the doubt, Sometimes all we need’s a way To let that music out. [Final Chorus — Full Band] Your story has a sound, Let it rise, let it roll, From the ink upon the paper To the fire inside your soul. Give the whisper room to thunder, Give the memory a tune, There’s a song inside this moment, And it starts right here with you. [Outro — Acoustic, Spoken] I’m Eric Bryden. Draconic Realms Creations. To the team at Suno— Thank you for giving my ideas Another place to grow.

Together, these versions show how I direct a single idea across contrasting musical and visual styles. For Draconic Realms Creations, this is an exercise in adapting the emotional presentation while maintaining a recognizable campaign identity.
